We continue to thank all our donors for the sponsorship of our student at Kimelok and Osegel it has been an amazing year for us as we continue empowering our student to work hard in school and as well making them know Christ through our Friday pastoral program conducted by our pastor at the hope center schools. Osegel School Grade 8 are also done with their national examination and have all passed their test and all received their calling letters to join high school. Thank you all for your prayers during their examination. Through your support of Child sponsorship our school feeding program has attracted a lot of children to continue staying in school for their learning, we are providing lunch in our Hope center schools for 404 children fed every day, these all because of your support, many of these children only get one meal at home. As a child-focused organization, what we want to see is that children thrive. Here in Kenya the ministry of Health has continued reporting decreased numbers of Covid -19 cases and pray God to his people heal our nations. It’s now official that school will reopen in January 4th 2020. Our food distribution to our hope centers for the months have been a blessing, families continued receiving food and giving thanks for the provision.

We have seen a lot change since the start of drought food distribution this all because of your support. People continue receiving Christ, our chapel Sunday large attendance and praise God as we expand his kingdom here on earth. Thank you our pastors for all your commitment and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ even to the unreached. Our December food distribution will be special as we embark to make sure all will have home package to celebrate with their families during Christmas day.

December VBS and Jesus Filming in the Hope Center villagers

We thank God for the successful December children VBS outreach for our hope centers in Katisaa, Kimelok, Osegel and Ilkerin. Our THEME was: MAKING DISCIPILES FOR ALL NATION (MAT 28:19-20) “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”. We had great engagement with children with large numbers of attendance in Katisa we had a total of 120 children and Osegel we had 98 and Ilkerin we had 114 ,combined we had 332. All children were taken through bible stories, Bible quiz and life skills. We help them discover the Hope that is found through Jesus Christ, last year through our VBS children program and Bible study Club 56 children accepted Jesus as their savior and as well in our Jesus film 6 times broadcast in the Hope centers villages 7 adults also accepted Jesus as their savior.

As we celebrate this year 2023, we want to remember the dedication of those who have worked so hard before us, recalling many signs of God’s grace in our ministry work. We are encouraged by what has happened in the past years, as we look ahead to the enormous work that still lies ahead.

Ruai Project

We thank God for the successful year October Month was our last month of harvest of French bean. We have been experiencing low production for the last five months., this low production is also contributed by low nutrients after planting French three consecutive years without rotation as well a lot of chemical injected in the soil hence getting good production from the French beans has been a challenge to our team in ruai.  Market prices are also very low and companies are no longer willing to get French beans hence we stopped French beans planting because we are running at loss and same time incurring a lot of expenses and not making any profit all. An alternative crop like onions, cabbages and beans are our next income generating activities crop. We tried planting onions and cabbages on pilot basis and did well. Planting of this variety of crop will also help to increase the soil nutrient after long planting of French beans with chemical that has loosening the soil productivity?

I wish you All God’s blessings as we serve God together for his Ministry.
