Empower a Family, Transform a Community: Join the Kids for Kids Program
The Helping Kenya Kids - Kids for Kids Program is a life-changing initiative that provides families with a pair of goats (kids)—in Kenya, goats are a valuable resource that’s easy to care for, adaptable, and brings a wealth of benefits. Each participating family receives two goats, which can grow into a small herd, offering a sustainable source of milk and income.
How It Works:
Improve Nutrition: Goats provide fresh milk, enhancing children’s diets with essential protein and calcium.
Boost Income: Families can sell surplus milk and offspring, creating a steady revenue stream for education, healthcare, and daily essentials.
Foster Independence: With training in goat-rearing, families learn practical skills to grow their herds, achieve financial stability, and ultimately invest in brighter futures.
By supporting this program, you’re helping families build resilience, gain independence, and create opportunities for generations. Join us in transforming lives—one goat at a time.
Director’s Report - Fall 2024
We’re excited to share the incredible progress we’ve made over the past few months here in Kenya, thanks to the unwavering support of friends like you. Together, we’ve celebrated impactful projects, strengthened partnerships, and deepened our mission to lead others to Christ. Through the dedication of our team and the generosity of our donors like you, we’re able to build a more inclusive, supportive, and faith-filled community.
None of these achievements would be possible without your commitment to Helping Kenya Kids—whether through financial support, missions trips to Kenya, or simply sharing our vision. With each step forward, we’re inspired to carry on with compassion, resilience, and a focus on spreading the Gospel. Together, let’s continue this journey, winning more souls for Christ and creating disciples who will share His love.

Our third school term is off to a great start, and we want to thank all our Student Sponsors for supporting our students at Kimelok and Osegel Hope Centers. Bible Club meetings hosted at Osegel Hope Center on Sundays are thriving. Here, we introduce many children to Christ through engaging Bible study sessions. Please keep our team and students in your prayers as we empower our students to excel academically and grow spiritually.
Our sponsored students at Osegel Hope Center in Grades 6 and 8 are preparing for their national exams. At Kimelok Hope Center Mission School, our Grade 4 students are participating in hands-on CBC (Competency-Based Curriculum) projects to assess their learning progress from Grades 1 to 4 in preparation for their national exam in Grade 6.
We’re also grateful for the success of our School Feeding Program, which continues to bring children to school, especially younger students. For many, this program provides their only substantial meal of the day. Beyond improving nutrition and health, this program boosts attendance, reduces tardiness, and increases enrollment. Please join us in praying for our sponsored students and for those yet to be sponsored. Thank you for helping us make such a meaningful impact!

Praise God for two years of successful service at the IL-Kerin Medical Clinic! We are deeply grateful to our donors and supporters for making this milestone possible. Through strong partnerships with the communities we serve and the Narok County Department of Health, our clinic’s mission to provide quality healthcare has flourished.
The collaboration between healthcare providers, local organizations, government agencies, and our dedicated mission teams has strengthened our ability to deliver sustainable healthcare to underserved communities. Together, we’re overcoming health challenges and creating lasting improvements for those in need.
The IL-Kerin Medical Clinic has brought peace, unity, and healing to the community. We are especially thankful that many patients seeking medical care also have the chance to experience the love of Christ through prayer. Every Friday, our Il-Kerin Hope Center hosts a special prayer session for the sick, bringing comfort and spiritual support to those in need.
Thank you for being a vital part of this mission—your support is changing lives!

We are grateful for the incredible work our pastors are doing since we began monthly training sessions in partnership with Nairobi Chapel Ministries. Using The Real Jesus by Pastor Adam (Family Church, Holland, MI) as their guide, our pastors are gaining valuable skills and knowledge to strengthen our churches and expand our outreach efforts.
With this training, they’re sharing the message of Jesus and making disciples in our Hope Centers and neighboring villages through weekly outreaches. Please join us in praying for God’s guidance, strength, and wisdom as they continue this important work of bringing more people to Christ.

We are so grateful for the Helping Kenya Kids mission trips in March, May, and July. The individuals who took part in these trips played a vital role in advancing the gospel and sharing Christ’s love in rural Kenya at our Hope Centers. These mission trips create special opportunities to serve side by side with local pastors, children, teachers, medical staff, and community members—working together to meet both spiritual and practical needs that transform lives.
The impact of these short-term mission trips is profound. Through the dedication of our mission teams, we’ve seen communities and individuals touched by the gospel and empowered in powerful ways. To everyone who has participated in these trips, thank you! Your willingness to travel, serve, and share Christ’s love has made a lasting difference, and we are deeply grateful for your time, energy, and compassion.
Looking ahead, we believe mission trips will continue to be a crucial part of our efforts to spread the hope of Jesus in Kenyan communities. By providing life-sustaining resources like education, clean water, and healthcare, we aim to bring true restoration through Christ to the people of Kenya.
Thank you, Jesus, for these opportunities to make a lasting impact, and thank you to each person who makes these trips possible!

Our Hope Centers provide nutritious meals but that can be costly. To help ease this financial strain, farmers at Ruai Farm have started a new cabbage project, with planting set to begin in mid-November. Cabbages take about three months to grow, so we’re aiming for a February harvest. The proceeds from selling these cabbages will go directly toward supporting the food programs at our Hope Centers, helping to provide more sustainable and affordable meals for our communities. Please pray for a good rain fall.
Brian Lemayian is a student at Osegel Hope Center. He is very disciplined and portrays good leadership roles. He is in Grade 3.
Brian is being raised by a single parent. They live in their grandparent's home, his father has separated from his mother leaving her to struggle to provide meals for them.
Brian's mother fetches firewood and sells them to earn a living for her children.
Your gift of $35 per month will help cover school costs that include tuition, supplies, food, for Lady.
Sponsorship gives you the opportunity to correspond (letters and pictures) with Lady. 100% of all donations to Helping Kenya Kids go to Kenya and helping the Kenyan children, women, and men.
