Medical examinations and compassionate treatment for people who may otherwise have limited access to care.

Healing hands. Open doors. A glimpse inside a week of medical ministry in rural Kenya.
Medical Teams • Kenya
A medical mission trip is about far more than treating symptoms.
Doctors, nurses, vision specialists, dental professionals, volunteers, pastors, and Kenyan medical personnel work side by side to care for people in rural communities where access to healthcare can be difficult.
Patients come for examinations, medicine, eyeglasses, dental care, and practical health education. But every clinic is also an opportunity to listen, encourage, pray, build relationships, and demonstrate the compassion of Jesus.
This recap offers a glimpse into what happens when medical care and ministry come together — and when people from different parts of the world serve shoulder to shoulder as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Medical examinations and compassionate treatment for people who may otherwise have limited access to care.
Eye examinations and eyeglasses that can dramatically change someone's ability to work, learn, and live independently.
Dental treatment and education that relieve pain and improve long-term health.
Every patient is more than a number. Teams have opportunities to listen, encourage, and pray with the people they meet.
People often travel to Kenya believing they are going to make a difference in someone else's life.
Then something unexpected happens.
They meet Kenyan doctors, pastors, teachers, mothers, fathers, children, and community leaders whose faith, hospitality, perseverance, and joy begin changing them too.
A Helping Kenya Kids mission trip is not about Americans arriving with all the answers.
It is about serving alongside Kenyan brothers and sisters, learning from one another, building friendships, and discovering together what God can do when His people make themselves available.
Helping Kenya Kids leads several kinds of teams throughout the year, creating opportunities for people with different gifts, experiences, ages, and backgrounds to serve alongside our Kenyan partners.
You may come expecting to give. You may discover how much you receive.
